- Cords Pistons Rings was aquired in June 1999 and transferred from its London location to South Wales
- Manufacturing at the new facility commmenced in August 1999
- Additional machinery added in 2000.
- The Duaflex and Hepoflex brands were acquired in 2002.
- Cords was originally established in 1937 in the UK after obtaining a manufacturing licence from the Canadian Company which opened in 1928
Cords produces primarily steel oil control rings for the automotive industry worldwide and has OEM and aftermarket clients in the Aircraft and engine assembly business.
All Companies now operate under one banner to supply product to some of the most well known OEM and parts manufacturing businesses in the automotive and aircraft industries.
